DESTRUCTIVE Masculinity
Destructive Masculinity is action without regulation, proportionality, or responsibility—converting power into harm rather than value.
These behaviors are rigid, defensive, or coercive. They are not a sign of strength–they emerge under threat, insecurity, or identity pressure, and are sustained by fear, entitlement, and loss of restraint.

ISOLATION
Chronic withdrawal from relationships, feedback, and support in response to perceived threat or vulnerability

PRECARIOUS MANHOOD
The belief that masculinity must be continually earned, proven, and defended; status feels revocable, mistakes feel dangerous, and challenges feel like threats to identity

DOMINANCE
Power orientation that seeks compliance through control, pressure, or coercion; substitutes enforcement for legitimacy and confuses obedience with respect

INTIMIDATION
Repeated use of fear—through threat, unpredictability, surveillance, or implied punishment—to shape behavior; intimidation works over time by shrinking perceived options and inducing compliance through anticipation

HARASSMENT
Harassment uses ridicule, degradation, or identity-based hostility to police belonging and reinforce hierarchy. It is not about attraction or humor—it is about enforcing norms through shame

VIOLENCE
Violence is the misuse of force to control, punish, or dominate; it emerges when entitlement overrides responsibility and emotional regulation collapses
